Although an ambitious contender for new membership onto The Darksiders team, the Ether Bunny fell short by 3 votes. What follows is the only surviving transcript from that dreadfully disappointing conversation...

Interim Director of The Darksiders: "I'm sorry Mr. Bunny. The Board of Directors has voted... and by a narrow margin, we decided you simply aren't dark enough to join The Darksiders."

The Ether Bunny: "Are you kidding? I'm a terrifyingly dark figure, and I create fear and chaos wherever I go."

IDoTD: "While we respect your excitement and determination, we don't consider your powers of causing blurred vision, mouth numbness and a temporary loss of motor skills to be that... dark."

TEB: "But I was a scourge of Ireland for decades, I'm actually registered as 'poisonous' now, and I've played the bad guy in several counter-culture books and movies, for crying out loud!”

IDoTD: "While your credentials are impressive, you haven't really done anything on a professional level lately, and we only have room for baddies with an ongoing and proven track record."

TEB: "But you let the Easter Bunny in!!!"

IDoTD: "Of course we did. That fellow is as dark as they come. He's a huge proponent of over-population. The levels of tooth decay his 'candy' causes is off the charts. And he revels in hiding things from children. He's a shoe-in for this organization. Now good day Mr. Bunny. We wish you the best in your future endeavors."

... And with his head hung low, The Ether Bunny left The Darksiders headquarters, disappearing into obscurity forever (joining other semi-notable antagonists of old: Sandy Claws, Sir Skewer the Impaler, Gary... just Gary, Warmtongue the Unsolicited Licker, Captain Cantankerous, and Mr. Poke the ‘Tickle Me’ Porcupine... to name a few.).

This is his theme song... (and also a very happy April Fools/Easter to all of you). ;)
